I’ll be the first in my family members to make a college level, which’s something I hold extremely close to my heart.
My household and I relocated to the USA in 2014 We chose Memphis as our 2nd home to start fresh and construct a much better future.
When I finished senior high school in 2020, I made a decision to join the Army Reserve so I could function permanent to help support my family members financially. Along the way, my moms and dads constantly reminded me of the significance of an university level. Honestly, I battled with the decision between selecting job over college.
That transformed when I found the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could gain my level 100 % online from a recognized, country wide identified Carnegie R 1 college. The flexibility of the program made it feasible to stabilize work, life, and education. As soon as I registered, I understood I made the ideal selection.
As an on the internet student, I stayed entailed with campus life with occupation fairs and joining trainee companies like the Society of Human Resource Administration. I intended to get one of the most out of my college experience and connect with individuals that shared my interest for human resources.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of autumn term. Thanks to the assistance and framework of UofM International, I was able to finish strong, even making the Dean’s List. I’m taking four classes while serving on active duty, and I’m honored to say I’ll be graduating in May.
Being able to serve my country, sustain my family members, and gain my level implies the globe to me. I feel ready to take on whatever follows.
